CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF HOSPITALITY AND COMMUNITY SERVICES

MONTREAL, QC – The Delta Montréal on President Kennedy Avenue celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2006 with three events that emphasize and celebrate the importance of the community, the hotel’s associates and many loyal guests and customers.
An anniversary food drive kicks off the week of May 8th and hotel guests, associates and members of the community are invited to add non-perishable food items to the gigantic 10,000 lb. scale, located in the upper lobby of the Delta Montreal. There are many prizes to be won as every time a 150 lb increment is reached, the donor responsible will be rewarded with an immediate prize ranging from a weekend for two people at the Delta Québec to a personalized Delta Montréal hotel bathrobe.
The anniversary food drive continues until May 28th and culminates with a party for 50 less-fortunate children from the Montreal community. Hosted by the Delta Montréal in cooperation with the Montreal Saint-Vincent-de-Paul Society, the day will include a special luncheon and fun-filled games and activities, including an opportunity for the kids to decorate a 20-metre cake bearing the image of the Delta Montréal!

In addition to the anniversary food drive this month, the Delta Montréal will host a special event for their associates and one for their loyal clientele, in November of this year.
The Delta Montréal located on President Kennedy Avenue, a 24-storey full-service business class hotel located in Montreal’s central business district, was inaugurated on November 17th, 1986. Owned and managed by CHIP Hospitality, the Delta Montréal has remained a Delta branded property for 20 years and is recognized within the community as a landmark property.
