CHIP Hospitality Announces New Director of Sales for Delta Montréal Hotel

MONTREAL (December 10th, 2007) -- – CHIP Hospitality is pleased to announce the appointment of Philippe Michaud as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Delta Montréal Hotel, effective December 3rd, 2007.
Mr. Michaud has evolved in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, with extensive sales knowledge in multiple markets, including corporate, Government, tour. Mr. Michaud has a solid understanding of the Delta brand, as he has worked for Delta Centre-Ville as Director of corporate Sales. Most recently, Mr. Michaud was National Sales Manager for Hilton Sales Worldwide, where he handled the largest portfolio of Canadian accounts for the Canadian group and transient segments. In 2005, he was proud recipient of the “Sales Manager of the Year” award for Hilton.

The Delta Montréal, located on President-Kennedy Avenue, is owned and managed by CHIP Hospitality. This 24-storey full service business class hotel, located in Montreal’s downtown business district, is recognized within the community as a landmark property. It offers 456 oversized guestrooms and has 15 meeting rooms with over 15,000 square feet of meeting space.
